The collection consists of meeting agendas, legislation, faculty manual, and memoranda generated by University of Miami's Faculty Senate and collected by representatives of Otto G. Richter Library from the 1990s to present.  Only the authorized personnel by the University Archives can access the materials.

The collection “Feminism Teaching Materials” contains class schedule, reading list, teaching notes, student essays and presentations, visual materials, as well as scholarly articles and news reports on feminism donated by Dr. Martha Lizabeth Phelps to the University Archives in May 2016.  The materials come from the course "Women in Warfare (POL 391)" she taught in spring 2016.

Dr.  Martha Lizabeth Phelps is currently a Full Time Lecturer at the Department of Political Science, College of Arts and Sciences, University of Miami.  She received her Ph.D. from the University of Miami in 2012.

The collection contains brochures and programs of the annual music event Festival Miami, which has been hosted by the University of Miami's Frost School of Music since 1984.  The collection was donated by Dr. William Hipp, former Dean of the School and founder of Festival of Miami, in June 2015.

This collection contains various issues of Flotsam magazine, a college humor and literary magazine published monthly by the students of the University of Miami from 1947 to 1948.
ASU0105 Focus: America radio talk show audio recordings, 1975-1976Add to your cart.

"Focus: America" radio talk show was created by Richard (Ric) Arenstein and Larry Wallenstein, both juniors in the Communications Department, University of Miami in 1975.  The show, originally started as a local program "Focus: Miami," was produced at the UM's campus radio station WVUM-FM, and Arenstein interviewed local personalities and celebrities visiting Miami.

After the successful first season, the tapes of the talk show were mailed to more than 70 college stations across the country under the name "Focus: America."  In the senior year Arenstein and his new associate, Chuck Bortunick, traveled under a grant from the Burger King Corp. to tape interviews of celebrities in other parts of the country.  The show ended at the graduation of Arenstein.

This collection contains miscellaneous fraternity and sorority publications, programs, pamphlets, and handbooks.
ASU0278 Frederic Zeigen collection, 1920-1929Add to your cart.

Frederic Zeigen Collection consists of materials on foudation and early years of the University of Miami, such as costitutional bylaws, meeting minutes, Board of Regents, first and second annual reports, and newspaper clippings on university-related events.

It also contains several additional folders on his company "Bankers Land and Investment Corporation," his interest in art and Michigan authors, and his scrapbook titled "The Idealist."

The folder titled "Photographs - 1926" is missing as of May 22, 2015.

ASU0321 Friends of the University of Miami Library records, 1960-1977Add to your cart.
This University of Miami Friends of the Library records contains 11 boxes of audio recordings of their events held between 1960 and 1977. See the attached container list for the list of the speakers and topics.  The tapes were professionally remasterd and digitized in 2012 to commemorate Richter's 50th anniversary.
