The Historic Preservation Resources Collection consists of publications produced by local and national historical societies recommending strategies for the preservation of historic architecture to owners and architects.  The pamphlets, books, booklets and papers in this collection contain historical information, drawings and photographic examples of historic buildings, tradition, and details, case studies, preservation briefs, local preservation ordinances and essays on historic preservation theory.

This collection consists of publications for the planning and building of Florida homes.  The majority of the pamphlets and guidebooks in this collection were distributed through contractors, builders, and real estate agencies located primarily in the Florida region during the 1940s and 50s.

This collection consists of over 300 digital images of drawings produced by First and Second year undergraduate architecture students.  The course content has been evolving since it's initial development in 1997 by Joanna Lombard, Professor of Landscape Architecture at the School of Architecture.  Content will continue to be added to the Hometown Maps collection in perpetuity.  The images are accessible through the University of Miami Libraries Digital Collections portal:
