The real estate in Englerston Addition was advertised and marketed by J. S. Engler, owner of Engler's Public Market, 207 N.W. 10th St., Miami. The three items available are: a folded brochure 9 x 3 3/4 inches promoting 'industries' in Nassau open to those lacking formal education: fishing, tomatoes, and sponges. The chief aim of the brochure was to promote a 'once in a lifetime' opportunity, exhorting recipients: 'It should be every Bahamians' ambition to buy a home in the land of your birth!' while cautioning 'The time isn't far when land will be sold by he inch instead of the lot.' The second item, a folded map of Nassau's Master Suburb,' opens to a two-color 18 x 24 inch plat map of Englerston featuring hundreds of properties, many as small as 25 x 100 feet. The last item is the envelope in which the above items were mailed, addressed to a Cocoanut Grove, Florida resident and postmarked March 21, 1926." -oldimprints.com
