The Julio Gómez papers contain materials related to Cuban-born, Miami-based theater artist Julio Gómez.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Julio Gómez papers contain books and articles on theater arts and the history of theater collected by Julio Gómez; audiovisual materials of theater performances; and some scripts and production notes of productions with which Gómez was involved. Some materials are in the format of electronic records.

Biographical Note

Julio Gómez (d. 2011) was a Cuban-born theater artist active in the late 20th century. Gómez was the founder of Grupo los 12, an experimental theater group.
