Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Andrew Kaufman Photography collection includes a box set of two hand made books created by the photographer that document the graffiti and street art in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. Also included in the collection is a folder of ephemera advertising Kaufman's photography business.

Biographical Note

Andrew Kaufman is a photographer/photojournalist based in Miami Beach. He has traveled across more than 40 countries, and has worked for a diverse set of clients including Outdoor Life, Time, Newsweek, ESPN and National Geographic Adventure. He has worked in a number of genres, including travel photography, photojournalism and photographic portraits. His recent work documenting the street art of Wynwood resulted in the publication of I'm In Miami Bitch! The Disappearing Street Art of Wynwood.

Item 1: I'm In Miami Bitch! The Disappearing Street Art of Wynwood Box Set, 2012Add to your cart.

A two volume set of hand made books documenting street art in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami. Volume 1 is labeled "The Feature", and volume 2 is labeled "The Sketch." Both include numerous photographs of graffiti and street art. The photographs are described by Kaufman as "printed on Fuji Crystal Archive, C-Prints. All materials in the project are archival. All images in the project were made on 35 mm film."

The project documented in the hand made books was developed into a publication by Kaufman, titled I'm In Miami Bitch! The Disappearing Street Art of Wynwood".

The box set also includes ephemera such as stickers, a flyer advertising the publication, a description of the box set in a custom envelope, and a pair of white gloves.
