The Teobaldo Rosell Papers contain documents written and collected by Dr. Teobaldo Rosell, former President of Gulf & Western Industries.

Scope and Contents of the Materials

The Teobaldo Rosell Papers contain documents written and collected by Dr. Teobaldo Rosell, former President of Gulf & Western Industries. They include newspaper clippings on the activities of Gulf & Western, particularly in the Dominican Republic from 1967-1978, as well as a series of manuscripts entitled Discursos y Alocuciones del Dr. Rosell.

Biographical Note

Teobaldo Rosell was a Cuban doctor and businessman who served as President of Gulf & Western Industries in the Dominican Republic, and became a leader of the Cuban exile community in that country.
